		Our prices for transcription are calculated on a 'per minute of recording' basis, as opposed to how long it actually took to physically transcribe a recording. Charging by per minute of recording is beneficial to customers, considering it can take four to six hours to transcribe one hour of dictation. TRANSCRIPTION RATES: Standard price (one-off projects) £0.90p per recorded minute Regular work (ongoing) £0.80p per recorded minute COPY TYPING: Over 50,000 words £3.50p per 1,000 words Under 50,000 words £4.00p per 1,000 words Our intention is to keep our rates as low as possible and in a fashion whereby all parties are aware of the final charge from the outset. Please inform us in advance if you intend to send us anything by post, especially from outside the UK.
